Individualized Evaluation for Your Child's Specific Needs

At Desert Neurodevelopment, PLLC, Dr. Bree is passionate about helping you unlock your child's full potential. When you collaborate with Dr. Bree, you’ll gain more than a diagnosis--you’ll gain a deeper understanding of your child’s unique strengths, needs, and understanding of the world. Following evaluation, you will be uniquely positioned to help your child receive the support he or she needs to overcome challenges, build resilience, and thrive.

Scheduling begins with a consultation, either a Complimentary Telehealth Consultation or a more comprehensive Initial Consultation. The Initial Consultation is the first step in scheduling an evaluation.

Our Services

Consultation

Evaluation begins with consultation.

Complimentary Telehealth Consultation

Schedule a free, 15-minute telehealth consultation with Dr. Bree briefly discuss your concerns and your child's needs.

Initial Consultation (Evaluation Step 1)

For parents who have more to discuss than can be covered in 15 minutes, and/or for those who are ready to begin the evaluation process, the Initial Consultation offers a 60-90 minute appointment with Dr. Bree.

Online scheduling offers a telehealth option, but if you would prefer to meet with Dr. Bree in person for this appointment, we are more than happy to accommodate.

Evaluation

We offer a variety of evaluation options to fit your child's needs, with each evaluation customized to the individual child and provided at a flat rate. Additional testing and appointments will never result in increased cost, because we believe it is in each child's best interests to individualize testing to their needs.

Feedback occurs at a separate, 3rd appointment.

fees & payment

Anti-Trust

To comply with anti-trust laws, which prohibit providers from intentionally collaborating to set the cost of services within an industry, we are unable to publish our specific consultation and evaluation rates; however, we are happy to share these with you over the phone. Please call us at (480) 960-1110 for this information.

Consultations

Consultations are billed at a flat rate which is discussed when the appointment is scheduled.

Consultations that are scheduled as part of a comprehensive evaluation are billed at this same rate; however, this fee is included in the cost of the evaluation.

Evaluations

Each evaluation is billed at a flat fee, which is discussed when the appointment is scheduled, so families are never surprised by their bill. Regardless of the amount of time the child requires to complete his or her particular evaluation, the cost will be the same and is dependent on the type of evaluation scheduled.

Feedback Sessions & Reports

There is no fee charged at the feedback session or when you receive your child's evaluation report. We believe you are entitled to receive your child's results.

Billing

Appointment fees are automatically charged through our online billing system at the beginning of each appointment.

Payment Options

A credit card is required to book your child's appointment; however, this is simply to hold your appointment and to cover the cost of any late cancellation or no-show fees you may incur should you fail to attend your appointment. These fees are described in our patient paperwork, which you receive when you book your appointment.

Accepted payment methods include: Credit Card, Debit Card, Health Savings Account (HSA) card, Flexible Savings Account (FSA) card, Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA), money order, and cash. We do not accept personal checks, and we do not bill insurance.

Insurance

Desert Neurodevelopment, PLLC and Dr. Bree do not accept insurance at this time; however, we are more than happy to provide you with a superbill at the end of your/your child's services so you may seek reimbursement from your insurance provider. The amount of reimbursement depends upon your particular insurance carrier and your plan. We recommend contacting your insurance carrier prior to your appointment(s) with us to determine the amount or percentage they are likely to reimburse.  If you would like a list of CPT codes (billing codes) to discuss with your insurance company, please let us know.
